Anna Lamar Switzer Center announces upcoming art exhibits

ABOVE: Layered image by David Carson ABOVE: Layered image by David Carson It’s an exciting season for the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts at Pensacola Junior College, a jewel on the Pensacola campus.

Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. It is closed weekends all year and on Fridays during the summer. Gallery lectures and group tours are available by prior arrangement. Admission is free.

DAVID CARSON, graphic artist, Anna Lamar Switzer Distinguished Artist

An internationally known type and design innovator, Carson dramatically challenges the traditions of graphic design.

ANNA TOMCZAK, photography

Nationally known Tomczak shows photographs using Polaroid chocolate film and digital iris prints.
