World music ballet
fuses with

Josh Kinser, Michael Kinser and Will Fink are Luna Mantra.
Luna Mantra, a Pensacola based progressive world fusion trio, is scheduled to perform with Ballet Pensacola March 4 and 5 at University of West Florida’s Center for Fine and Performing Arts. Luna Mantra will perform “Las Brisas,” an original composition by composer/guitarist Michael Kinser with the Ballet Pensacola. The Ballet will be choreographed by award winning choreographer lee Wei Choa, making the project an international collaboration of music and dance.

Michael T. Kinser, 27, is a Pensacola native who blends traditional Flamenco, Gypsy, Celtic, Brazilian and Classical forms of music. His brother Joshua will accompany him on percussion and Will Fink will accompany on violin in the Luna Mantra group. Michael’s new composition, “Las Brisas” was inspired by two paintings by surrealist painter Salvador Dali, “View of Cadaques with the shadow of Mount Pani” and “The Hallucinogenic Toreador.”

Admission is $20 for the general public, $5 for UWF students.
