Festival of Nations coming in April
The Pensacola Festival of Nations is announcing a call to artists. The purpose of the call is to identify a work of art that will commemorate the 2005 Pensacola Festival of Nations.
The Pensacola Festival of Nations is scheduled for Fri., Sat., and Sun. April 1, 2, and 3 at Seville Square. The festival is sponsored by the local American Red Cross Chapter’s International Services, in collaboration with the City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department, University of West Florida and the Pensacola High School International Baccalaureate Program.
The festival is intended to bring together the various cultures represented in the greater Pensacola area and to celebrate diversity and unity. Entries should reflect the festival’s purpose and should be able to be photographed. The deadline for entries is March 04th.
A press conference to announce the winner and to present the artwork will follow.
