Gulf Breeze Celebrates the Arts March 26-27

Gulf Breeze Arts, Inc. and the City of Gulf Breeze will hold the 11th annual Fine Arts Festival Saturday and Sunday March 26 and 27 daily from 9 am until 5 pm. This year the festival will be held in the High School parking lot on Highway 98. The festival is held rain or shine with plenty of free parking and free admission.

The new festival director this year is Sue Warner. She has much experience with Pensacola Festivals. The judge she has chosen is Robert Tucker, Professor of Art at Birmingham Southern College.

In conjunction with the outside show, the children’s area, student art show, and Gulf Breeze Arts Members’ Show will be held inside the high school.

The sponsor purchase awards will be available again this year. These awards allow businesses and individual patrons to purchase arts and goods from any of the over 100 artists that will be at the festival. Ten percent of the award goes to the PJC Endowed Scholarship Fund established by Gulf Breeze Arts, Inc. Purchase of a $100 award means that a credit of $90 is established to spend at the festival and $10 goes to the scholarship fund. Awards are available for $100, $200, $300, $500, and $1000. For more information contact Chairman Carolyn Leddy at 932-5568, cell 572-1017, or Marita or Sandy at City Hall, 934-5115, for Purchase Award forms or information.
