THE HOBBIT comes to Pensacola Little Theatre

Experience how THE LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy began!

Pensacola Little Theatre’s Treehouse Family Theatre Series is proud to present J.R. R. Tolkien’s classic adventure-fantasy, THE HOBBIT, April 1 – 3 & 8 – 10.

A group of dwarves descends upon quiet Bilbo Baggins and inform him that he is to accompany them on their quest for stolen treasure - as their expert burglar!

The urgings of the great wizard Gandalf convince Bilbo, against his better judgment, that he should go with the dwarves to recover their treasure from the dragon, Smaug. THE HOBBIT is an exciting, literate, clever, and fast-paced version of the modern fantasy classic.

Adapted by Patricia Gray and based on the classic novel by J. R. R. Tolkien, PLT’S Treehouse production of THE HOBBIT is directed by award-winning director, Heidi Schiller.

The production features Kevin Knight as “Bilbo Baggins”, Chester Delacruz as “Gandalf”, Tiffany Daniels as “Dwalin”, Michael Smith as “Balin”, Travis Smith as “Kili”, Jessica Terrell as “Fili”, Grace Tyson as “Dori”, Ben Petsel as “Nori”, Shelby Hobbes as “Ori”, Laney Camferdam as ”Oin”, Sid Jackson as “Gloin”, Francesca Palmer as “Bifur”, Laura Brosch as “Bofur”, Mason Charles as “Bombur”, Justin Hilton as “Thorin”, Sterling Griffin as “Gollum”, Teresa Terrell as “Hobbit Child”, Emilie Syverson as “Gert”, Blair King as “Essie”, Drew McCrary as “Tom”, Lydia Maumenee as “Elven Queen”, Lia Malamo as “Elf Guard”, Ramona Snowden as “Elf Guard”, Zachary Helton, Jonathan Williams and Michael Lemaster as puppeteers.

THE HOBBIT will show at the Pensacola Little Theatre, April 1 – 3 & 8 – 10, 2005; Friday and Saturday performances at 7:00 pm; Sunday matinees at 2:30.
