Surrender to FIESTA The Fiesta of Five Flags is an annual celebration of the founding of Pensacola. In 1559, Spanish Conquistador Don Tristan DeLuna established Pensacola as the first European settlement in the United States.
Since that time five different flags have flown over the City:
Spanish, French, British, Confederate and American.
Emmanuel Sheppard and Condon Fiesta Days Celebration. June 2, 7 p.m. at Seville Quarter. Tickets are $30 per person.
Albertsons Fiesta Krewe of Lafitte Parade. June 3. 7 p.m.
in historic downtown Pensacola.
Fiesta Prayer Service. June 4. 10 a.m. at the Old Christ Church at Seville Square. Free and the public is invited.
Centennial Imports Fiesta Boat Parade. June 4, 12:15 p.m., with the Centennial Imports Fiesta Boat Parade from Pensacola Bay.
DeLuna Landing Ceremony. June 4. 3 p.m. at the Pensacola Beach Gulfside Pavilion.
Fiesta Sand Sculpture Contest. June 5. Registration begins at 9 a.m. near the Gulfside Pavilion near the Pensacola Beach Fishing Pier.
Admission is free.
Bank of America Fiesta Krewe Ball. June 8. 7:30 p.m.
at the Hadji Shrine Temple.
DeLuna Coronation Sponsors’ Ball and Breakfast.
June 10. Pensacola Civic Center, by invitation only.
Pensacola Twirlers Fiesta of Five Flags Square Dance.
June 11. 7:30 p.m. at the Bayview Park. Open to the public.
