FREE TO DO! Evenings in Olde Seville feature music, food and fun

Pensacola, Fla. – Jones & Company feature their own special brand of scatty, sassy, and sophisticated music from 7–9:15 p.m. on Thurs., July 7 at the next Evenings in Olde Seville Square.

Blues or reggae, jazz or dance, oldies or the latest chart busters, with their passion for music, Cheryl Jones and the boys know how to do it all.

The result, an audience that feels the emotion behind every note. Cheryl Jones & Company was voted “Best of the Emerald Coast” for the past three years in a row. The band started over a decade ago, when husbandand wife team Cheryl and Denny Jones hooked up with Al Alvarado, a Cuban-born saxophonist.

About a year and a half later, they added the percussion skills of Brent Purcell to the band. Purcell, originally from Ireland, added yet one more international touch to this firstclass band.

The Square Meal of the week is Mexican Mixtures. Barbecue, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, frozen desserts, soft drinks and water are also available at all concerts.

Plan to bring a lawn chair or a blanket for seating and a picnic basket or cooler. Arrive early for best seating.

It’s Jazz Nite at the next Evenings in Olde Seville Square concert on Thu., July 14, featuring the Dixieland Dandies and Swingin’ Dick Tracys.
