The Pensacola Junior College Summer High School Onstage Workshop is setting the stage for the musical romp "Grease" that's running 7:30 p.m. July 29, 30, Aug. 5, 6 and 2:30 p.m. July 31 and Aug.7, in the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Bldg. 8, on the Pensacola campus. All seats are $10 (no student, faculty or senior rates). Tickets go on sale Monday, July 11.

Cast members include: Chelsea Reynolds, Sandy; David Shipman, Danny; Michael Holland, Kenickie; Bobby Hanna, Doody; Tristan Yenzer, Sonny; Gavin Parmley, Roger; Stephanie Poland, Rizzo; Maria Kerrigan, Marty; Hannah Marshall, Frenchy; Lacey Spruce, Jan; Laura Lamar, Patty; Corey Stone, Eugene; Sarah Mixon, Cha Cha DiGregorio; Ricky Terry, Johnny Casino; Melissa Hudson, Mrs. Lynch. You surely know the drill. "Grease," the Broadway show and original movie, has captivated generations for decades. Everyone knows Sandy and Danny, their zany friends, Vince Fontaine and Teen Angel, the wild halls of Rydell High, the fun 1950s fashions and a Greased Lightnin'-load of infectious songs including "Summer Nights," "Beauty School Dropout," "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee" and "Born to Hand Jive." PJC's summer musical theater program involves students in all aspects of production including singing, acting, dancing, and/or technical theater with an emphasis on students' particular interests or talents.
