A wide range of modern and contemporary styles and periods including, Cubism, Realism, Pop Art, Nonobjective Art, Folk Art and Illustration are all featured within the collection. After settling in Harlem, the Smiths soon opened their own photography studio, photographing the people of their own neighborhood. Thsi show features 68 silver gelatin photographs detailing one of the most unique and creative cultural movements in American history.
