Picture this Wide Angle Photo Contest Sept. 23-25
The twelfth annual photography show and contest of the Wide Angle Photo Club is planned for Sept. 23-25, 2005. It will be held this year in the Gallery Room of the Pensacola Cultural Center, 400 S. Jefferson Street, in Pensacola.
Sponsored by the photo club and major contributor Peoples First Community Bank, the Power of Photography Show is a benefit event for ARC Gateway, which helps developmentally disabled adults and children. Last year’s show included almost 400 photographs and raised more than $1,800 for ARC Gateway. Honorary contest chair will again be Sue Straughn, WEAR-TV.
Photographers of all ages and levels of experience will be invited to participate, competing for prizes on various photo topics. Details for entering will be posted on the club web site, www.wideanglephotoclub.org. An entry fee is charged for each photo entered.

The Beaches to Woodlands Tour in October will provide opportunities for artists to exhibit and/or sell their work at local festivals including: Old Spanish Trail Sale Art & Food Fest on Oct. 1 at various locations in downtown Milton; contact 686-1427 for info.

The Beaches to Woodlands Tour is an event designed to create off-season attractions offering residents and visitors self-guided journeys throughout Santa Rosa featuring antiquing, arts & culture, heritage, and outdoor venues which highlight the county’s uniqueness and diversity.
