Q: I’m curious about the relationship Jennifer Lopez has with her two sisters. According to an article I read, all three are musically talented, yet only Jennifer became a star. Has this caused any problems in the family? — Rita M.
A: The father of the Lopez ladies — Jennifer, Lynda and Leslie — says that the sisters are loving and proud of each other’s accomplishments. Lynda Lopez, for example, is a television journalist who currently appears on a local New York network affiliate. Papa Lopez does say he’s not surprised by Jennifer’s amazing achievements. She was born with a drive to succeed, and he says once Jenny would set her mind on a goal, she was unstoppable.
*** Q: On the series “Law and Order: Criminal Intent,” are the two stars, Vincent D’Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe, married in real life? And do they have children? — Joy Ann H.
A: Erbe is married in real life, but not to D’Onofrio. Her husband is Terry Kinney, actor/producer/director and co-founder of the Steppenwolf Theater Company, with whom she has two children. D’Onofrio is divorced from Carin van der Donk, the mother of his youngest child, a son, and actress Greta Scacchi, who stars in the upcoming “Syriana,” the mother of his oldest child, a daughter. ***
