As part of Pensacola Junior College’s 2005-2006 Lyceum series, the Pensacola-based, progressive, world-fusion trio Luna Mantra is set to deliver an innovative and exciting concert on the Pensacola campus. The performance, sponsored by PJC Student Activities, is 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Student Center, Bldg. 5. Cost is $2 and free for PJC students. Luna Mantra features the talents of brothers Michael Kinser, guitar; Joshua Kinser, drums/percussion; and virtuoso Will Fink, violin/flute. Anticipate the influences of jazz, flamenco, gypsy, bossa nova, bluegrass, tango and reggae. The Floridian trio’s signature is fusing Spanish guitar and gypsy violin with world beat/jazz fusion rhythms. For more information or to buy tickets, call 484-1847.
