ONE ACTS PJC theater students present plays Dec. 9
Seven Pensacola Junior College theater students invite the public to catch them in the director’s chair as they direct one-act plays. The free evening of theater, “TGIFriday Nite One Acts at PJC,” is 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium on the Pensacola campus.
It is an opportunity for students to get practical hands-on experience in directing fully realized theatrical productions from play selection, script analysis, auditions, rehearsal techniques and final performance. It also helps them improve in all areas of theater including acting and design.
The plays and directors: “The DMV One,” Vincent Teschel;
“Dust of the Road,” Justin Chavers; “Linda Her,” Tiffany Eddins; “Night Mother,” Jennifer Godwin; “Naomi in the Living Room,” William Chavers; “Pasquini the Magnificent,” Nicole Dickson; and “Flying Circus,” Andrew Pascoe.
For more information, call PJC theater department director Rodney Whatley at 484-1807 or 484-1800. lsa!
