Winterfest! Experience Christmas magic in downtown Pensacola
PENSACOLA, FL – Popular Christmas characters from the past will visit downtown Pensacola this holiday season every Friday and Saturday evening from November 25th to December 17th at 5:30 p.m. This year’s Winterfest celebration is filled with theatrical reenactments, festive displays and spirited holiday tunes.
During this annual event, trolleys will guide participants through myriad scenes from Christmas movie classics such as It’s a Wonderful Life, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Polar Express. Additional Winterfest
highlights include musical performances by the Jazz Society and Pensacola Opera, sing-alongs led by Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman, and a visit from Santa and his elf. Horse and carriage rides through the Victorian village are also available.
Trolleys will be located in front of the T.T. Wentworth Museum across from Plaza Ferdinand and will depart every ten minutes from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m.
For the first time, Winterfest will be fully accessible for the disabled. Residents of assistedliving facilities will be able to participate as buses and
