Calvert mentions the array of menu items including the popular Grouper Sidelines sandwich, a freshly prepared catch grilled, fried or blackened or one of six 8 oz. Black Angus burgers grilled to order. In the mood for a dinner? The 10 oz. hand cut ribeye steak is charbroiled to order and served with garlic toast and choice of two sides. If you have a hankering for local seafood flair, the All-Star Sampler is a sampling of fresh seafood including fried shrimp, oysters and grouper. Looking for something a little lighter? Try one of Sidelines' 20 different salads including fried shrimp Caesar salad, chef salad or oyster salad.

How about those wings? Despite the last two active hurricane seasons, Sidelines has still been able to sell a wing or two. In fact, Calvert is confident of breaking all record this year, pending inclement weather.

"We're probably on course to sell 800,000 chicken wings this year," said Calvert. Calvert said the wings are never frozen and with a choice of eight different flavors, anyone can be pleased.

Naturally, Calvert is optimistic about this year's hurricane season predictions.

"We're looking forward to football season along with a nice, quiet hurricane season," he said.
