Oct. 1-31 - 2nd Annual Think Pink Promotion, The Market Shops at Sandestin

Special shopping promotions are also scheduled at The Market Shoppes at Sandestin.

Think Pink Promotion

The Market Shops at Sandestin will celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month throughout the month of October by mixing shopping pleasure and charitable support during the 2nd Annual Think Pink Promotion. Participating merchants will feature exclusive merchandise in honor of the cause with a portion of sales to benefit the American Cancer Society. The Market Shops are open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Canines on the Catwalk

Bring your precious pups to The Market Shops at Sandestin from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 and let them take their turn on the catwalk. Prizes will be awarded for best costume, best talent, best personality and best in show. The entry fee is $8 per dog in advance and $10 the day of the event. Proceeds will benefit the local Community Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E).

Oktober Fest

Grab a friend and join Beef 'O' Brady's Family Sports Pub for Oktober Fest, Oct. 14 and 15 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Enjoy an authentic German cuisine of bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad and more. Beef 'O' Brady's will feature a beer tasting that includes a variety of German brews and specialty beers. Come out on Oct. 14 and cheer on your favorite collegiate team while watching the big game on a giant outdoor movie screen that will be set up on the Cypress Green.

Model Search with Model Scout Bennett

The Market Shops at Sandestin have teamed together with Model Scout Bennett in search of the next fresh, new face by hosting a model search on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. The winner will be awarded a trip to New York City to meet with international modeling agencies and a paid photo test with an industry leading New York photographer. The search is open to both male and females ages 13 years and older and costs $25 to enter.
