Blue Morning Gallery opens 'Keahou, New Beginnings'

'Is it Time for Spring?' An acrylic on canvas with collage by Donna Freckmann.
The works of Deb Chinery and Donna Freckmann will be appearing in an exhibit at BlueMorning Gallery.

Last July, Chinery and Freckmann planned to have an art opening until Hurricane Dennis decided to come to town. Blue Morning Gallery had some damage, and the gallery opening,"Keahou, New Beginnings" was postponed. Now open, this

show was worth waiting

for.

Chinery's work will reflect her two passions: our environment, specifically the water, and the dignity of women through "BraScapes."

Freckmann will work in strong colors using collage as a technique with her canvas.

Blue Morning Gallery is located at 112 S. Palafox, two doors down from the Saenger. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Details: 429-9100
