Pensacola Opera to Perform Lucia Di Lammermoor

In two showings, March 10, at 7:30 p.m. and March 12, at 2 pm, the Pensacola Opera will perform Lucia Di Lammermoor, Composed by Gaetano Donizetti, at the Pensacola Saenger Theatre. The musical drama directed by A. Scott Parry, and conducted by Jerome Shannon, will showcase the Pensacola talent: Jane Redding, John Bellemer, Dennis Jesse, Matthew Lau, Alissa Anderson, Tommy Rowell, and Nicholas Larsen. Nine Inch Nails hits the Pensacola Civic Center

The Grammy Award winning industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails (NIN) will perform at the Pensacola Civic Center March 20. The music of NIN as been described as rock, industrial, electronica, heavy metal, but most commonly industrial rock. Renound slam poetry artist Saul Williams will be the opening act. Williams has r e i nve n t e d poetry for many young Americans as a living, and accessible art form. While on tour with N I N Williams will be performing his own music.
