Pensacola JazzFest Reawakens Historic Seville Square
Pensacola JazzFest 2006, upcoming Saturday and Sunday April 1-2, promises to be an exciting event. Pensacola JazzFest, now in its 23rd year, is a free, all jazz festival held in historic Seville Square. The two-day festival, held in early spring each year, celebrates America's unique musical art form: Jazz. This year's performers will include Crystal Joy Albert, the Rebirth Brass Band of New Orleans, the UWF Jazz Ensemble, Harry Anderson's S.U. Jazz Ensemble, Pianist Russell Kassoff Dream Trio, Bassist Jay Leonhart, Saxophonist Harry Allen's N.Y.C. Quintet and many more. The Jazz Society of Pensacola coordinates the event and works all year to present this festival as its annual gift to the community.
