Kenny Chesney Finds Himself "Somewhere in the Sun" in Pensacola
 | | Chesney |
| Kenny Chesney's "Road & The Radio" Tour hits Pensacola on the heels of his wildly successful "Somewhere In The Sun" tour. That tour sold more tickets during the first half of 2005 than any other act besides U2, ending the year as the biggest country show on the road. The reigning Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the year promises a bigger show this year, with more lights and more mobility during the performance. Academy of Country Music's top new artist of 2004, Dierks Bentley will also be along for the ride. His debut single, "What Was I Thinkin'" went #1, followed by two more hit singles. Bentley's latest effort, "Come A Little Closer" was also a #1 smash hit. The hottest new country act on the music scene, Sugarland, has experienced early success on the country charts. Hit songs include "Baby Girl" and "Something More". Tickets on sale Saturday, February 11, 2006 @ 10am. Tickets available online at ticketmaster.com, charge by phone (850)434-7444 or at the Civic Center Box Office. Additional fees may apply.
