Divots for Divas Golf Tourney April 7 at Perdido
Since Placido Domingo is doing it, so will Pensacola Opera. Host a golf tournament that is. Divots for Divas, the first golf tournament to benefit Pensacola Opera, is Friday, April 7 at Perdido Golf Resort. Call Pensacola Opera office, 850.433.6737, to register your foursome today. Check in begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12 noon.
Field is limited to 144 players, four-person teams, and best ball of foursome. Prizes awarded and the entry fee is $100 per player, including green fees, box lunch and beverages on course.

National Junior Disability Championships seeks sponsors
The Tampa Shriners Hospital will host the 2005 National Disability Championships July 22-29.
The Tampa Shriners have to raise between $80,000-$100,000 before the event takes place in July in order for the event to even happen.
They are also looking for over 700 volunteers to make the NJDC work. For volunteering, call Lori Walker 813-972-2250 x 7159. For sponsorship, call the mail hospital number 813-972-2250 and ask for the PR dept.
Bass tourney to benefit United Way
The United Way of Santa Rosa County will host its Inaugural Bass Tournament on May 20 at River Run Marina in Milton.
