Sandra Bullock returns to big screen in 'The Lake House' Evelyn Green
Q: What has Sandra Bullock been up to lately? She seems to have disappeared from all radar screens since she got married. I miss seeing her on the big screen.

A: Well, you need wait only a b o u t a n o t h e r month, as her new movie, "The L a k e H o u s e , " opens June 16. Her "Speed" costar, Keanu Reeves, is (again) her love interest in this romantic, supernatural, time-traveling movie. Much like "Ghost," I predict this movie to be the sleeper hit of the summer.
Q: Do you recall a television show from the '80s, "The Ronnie and Nancy Show"? It was a political satire about President Reagan. I would love to find it on DVD.

A: The "Spitting Image" franchise, where famous characters in British and international life were recreated in the form of latex puppets, began in the U.K. and really took off, but attempts to launch the show in the U.S. didn't fare very well. After three episodes aired on NBC in late 1986 and early 1987 (with the vocal talents of Harry Shearer of "The Simpsons" and "This Is Spinal Tap" fame and Fred Travalena, among many others), the show was abandoned.

| Britain's ITV announced in February that it will be filming a documentary about the popular series, but there are no plans to resurrect it here.
(Those not familiar with the TV show might recognize the Spitting Image puppets from Genesis' music video for their song "The Land of Confusion.")
Q: I know Mary Stuart Masterson was in the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes."
Doesn't she now occasionally appear on "Law & Order: SVU" as a psychologist? Also, is she any relation to the woman who formerly played Maggie on "All My Children"?
- A Reader, via e-mail
A: Masterson has had a recurring role on "L&O: SVU" as Dr. Rebecca Hendrix since 2004. Aside from "Tomatoes," viewers might also remember her as the title character in the short-lived TV show from 2001, "Kate Brasher."
Elizabeth Hendrickson played Maggie on "All My Children" and is no relation to Masterson, although the resemblance is uncanny.
Q: After "M*A*S*H" ended, I never again saw Odessa Cleveland (Lt. Ginger Bayliss) or Kellye Nakahara (Nurse Kellye). What happened to them?
- A Reader, via e-mail
A: When "M*A*S*H" was over, Cleveland appeared on "The Greatest American Hero" and guest-starred on "M*A*S*H" spin-off "Trapper John, M.D.," but since then has pretty much stayed out of the limelight. Nakahara, on the other hand, has played supporting roles in "Matt Houston," "She's Having a Baby," "Hunter," "Growing Pains," "NYPD Blue," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and "Dr. Doolittle." In addition to acting, Nakahara is also a noted watercolor artist.
