'Art An Enduring Passion' opens at Blue Morning Gallery
Blue Morning Gallery 112 Palafox Place Pensacola, FL32502 (850) 429-9100

Painter Morris Eaddy and Photographer Gordon Levi open their two-man show "Art An Enduring Passion" on July 3 with a reception July 14, 5-8 pm. The show runs through August 12.

Water media artist Morris Eaddy, a clinical psychologist, is especially influenced by the vivid use of color in his portrait, figurative, landscape, floral and abstract paintings. His interest in people and their experiences as they journal through life is especially reflected in his portraiture and figurative paintings. Eaddy's primary criteria for paintings are that the person or concept be visually interpreted in an interesting and entertaining way and have an emotional connection with the viewer.

Levi, a native of the beautiful Finger Lake Region of upstate New York, has called Pensacola his home for more than 25 years. His interest in photography goes back to his boyhood when his mother let him take pictures at family reunions with her Kodak No. 2 Brownie camera. Levi focuses on the quality of composition, balance and color throughout his work. His photographs capture common subjects in an uncommon composition. Blue Morning Gallery, is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Meet the Artists Reception
