Thespian talent runs in the family for LaPaglia brothers by Evelyn Green
Q: I have a question about Anthony LaPaglia, who stars in "Without a Trace," and Jonathan LaPaglia, who played in "The District." Are they brothers? - L.L.S., via e-mail
A: Anthony is the oldest of three brothers, and Jonathan is the youngest. (Middle brother Michael is a car wholesaler in Los Angeles.) Jonathan received his medical degree in the brothers' native Australia and was a practicing phy s i c i a n for three years before f o l l owing his older b r o t h e r ' s f o o t s t e p s into acting. Interestingly, J o n a t h a n auditioned for the medical drama "ER" back in 1994, but did not get the part.
Q: Could you please tell me when the highly addictive show "Nip/Tuck" will be back with a new season? - Michele Adams, via e-mail
A: Hold tight just a little bit longer. FX's critically acclaimed show "Nip/Tuck," starring Dylan Walsh, Julian McMahon and Joely Richardson will return on Sept. 19 with all new episodes, the first of which is titled, "Cindy Plumb." (Those of you who watch the show know that each episode is named for the patient they are operating on during the show.)
*** Q: I love the show "Numb3rs." The whole cast is really great. But it has been driving me crazy to know if Rob Morrow is related to Vic Morrow from the old "Combat!" series. - Anonymous, via e-mail
 | | LaPaglia |
| A: Vic Morrow, who will forever be linked to that tragic accident on the set of "Twilight Zone: The Movie," where a falling helicopter killed him and the two children he was carrying, is not related to Rob Morrow. Vic is, however, the father of actress Jennifer Jason Leigh ("Fast Times at Ridgemont High," "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle" and "Backdraft").
Q: I have been looking for the DVD of "Nash Bridges." Is there one out? If not, when will one be released? - Anonymous
A: "Nash Bridges" has not been made available on DVD. You can, however, let the studio know you are interested in its release. Go to Amazon.com and search for "Nash Bridges DVD." You will be brought to a page where you can enter your email address to be notified when it does come out on DVD. Amazon uses this request of information to let the studios know they have "X amount" of people asking about when a show will be put on DVD. If enough people ask, the studio is bound to acquiesce.

| Q: I have been watching reruns of "Magnum, P.I." and have enjoyed seeing Kathleen Lloyd. What has she been doing since the series ended? Has she been in anything lately? - Lynette J., via e-mail
A: Kathleen Lloyd has costarred and guest-starred in many TV shows since her days as Assistant District Attorney Carol Baldwin on "Magnum, P.I." Her vast resume includes stints on "L.A. Law," "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman," "JAG" and "E.R." She has most recently been featured on "Cold Case" and "7th Heaven."
