Power of Photography Contest seeks submissions

Area photographers, both amateur and professional, are invited to enter photography in the 13th annual Power of Photography benefit show and contest. Over $1300 in cash and prizes will be awarded.
Sponsored by the Wide Angle Photo Club and major contributor, Peoples First Community Bank, this juried show will be on exhibit at The Wright Place on July 14-16 in downtown Pensacola.
Entry fees, payable during check-in on July 10, will be charged per photo. The deadline to send in registration forms is July 3.
Proceeds from the show will be contributed to ARC Gateway, a not-for-profit organization which helps disabled children and adults. Sue Straughn, WEAR-TV3 anchorwoman, is honorary chair again this year and will personally select one photo to receive the award that bears her name.
