See hundreds of Corvettes at 'Vettes at the Village'
National Corvette Museum will offer $10 raffle tickets to win a Corvette
America's Sports Car is coming to Sandestin. More than 200 corvettes ranging from the first year of production to current models will be on display for Vettes at the Village from noon-5 p.m. on Saturday, August 12 at The Village of Baytowne Wharf. The public will be able to vote for their favorites to determine the top three winners of each class.
Corvette clubs from across the Southeast are participating in the event and will be selling raffle tickets to spectators for the chance to win one of more than 50 prizes. Top awards include $1,000 cash, a five-day resort rental in Orlando and other getaways. Tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5 available at the event or by calling Playground Corvette Club at 850.543.7070. A portion of the proceeds will go to a variety of charities.
"We expect this year's event to be a huge success and to continue its explosive growth in the year's to come. It has already doubled in participants since last year and has established a reputation as a quality show that is a lot of fun," said Adam Shiland, event producer, asquared events.
The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY will also have a display on site with information about the museum, merchandise from their Corvette store and an opportunity to buy a $10 raffle ticket for an opportunity to win a Corvette.
