Zoomobile ready for summer
The Zoomobile is The ZOO's educational outreach program. Many individuals, families, groups, businesses, and corporations find it very rewarding to sponsor an animal at The ZOO. The ZOO has several animal sponsorship programs available.
Education coordinators will bring appropriate animals to birthday parties, school groups, community events, etc. Presentations are given concerning animal conservation and other related topics.
The adopt an animal program includes the sponsorship of almost any animal at the zoo or can also provide for the purchase of new animals that the zoo would like to acquire. The adoptions are for a one-year period and can be renewed. The costs of adoption vary from as little as $25 per year.
The zoo has an ongoing exhibit expansion program and welcomes inquiries about any of the sponsorship programs. Adoption lists, rates, and other information are available at the ZOO or by calling (850) 932-2229.
