Pensacola Museum of Art welcomes two new exhibits
In keeping with the PMA's tradition of bringing high caliber exhibits such as Chihuly, Picasso, and Auguste Rodin to the Pensacola area, the PMA will feature in its upcoming season exhibits of Tiffany, 20th Century Graphic Masters and Masterpieces of American Photography.

Founded in London in 1946, Marlborough Gallery is widely recognized as one of the world's leading contemporary art dealers. Over the years, the gallery has represented artists such as Robert Motherwell, Phillip Guston, Adolph Gottlieb, and the estates of Jackson Pollock and Franz Kline. This exhibition from the Marlborough's long established New York Gallery features three of the their top contemporary artists: photographer Jean Pagliuso, painter Richard Segalman and photographer Robert Weingarten.
Works included are Pagliuso's beautiful photographs of ancient ruins and landscapes from California, New Mexico, India, Cambodia and Peru all done on handmade mulberry paper; Segelman's figure studies in watercolor, pastel, oil and monoprint; and Weingarten's large scale photographs taken at the same time, 6:30 a.m., over the course of one year, and from the same viewpoint from his home in Malibu looking across Santa Monica Bay.

The name Tiffany denotes fine craftsmanship, be it the fabulous jewelry produced by Charles Lewis Tiffany, founder of Tiffany and Co., or the beautiful glass lampshades, chandeliers and windows created by his son Louis Comfort Tiffany.
Tiffany glass has been a mainstay in American design for over one hundred years. During the studio's heyday, 1900-1930, Tiffany produced thousands of lamps in hundreds of motifs, exploring patterns and designs ranging from deceptively simple to extraordinarily complex.
"Tiffany By Design" will feature approximately thirty original lamps and chandeliers as well as a stunning leaded glass window from the Neustadt Museum of Tiffany Art, New York. The exhibition delves into the construction, fabrication, design and qualities of Tiffany lamps created between 1900 and 1925, the peak of the studio's success.
