Navarre Beach schedules its first annual Beach Bash
The first Navarre Beach Bash will be held at the county's public parking area at the entrance to Navarre Beach by the old pier from noon to 10 p.m. on October 28.
The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event.
"We are going to have a wonderful day," says Chamber Director Kathy Newby. "There are going to be costume contests for kids during the day, and an adult contest at night."
Newby went on to describe a day of family fun including kid's rides and activities, food booths and pumpkin decorating contests.
The Beach Bash will feature performances from three local bands as well.
"Plan to come early and stay all day as food vendors and a beer booth will also be set up," Newby invites. "We will be celebrating the end of hurricane season!"
