Ice Pilots can cure those Friday night blues in November
Now that the high school football season is winding down, there's another alternative for the Friday night sports fan.
The Pensacola Ice Pilots will be at home for three of the four Thursday in November, beginning Nov. 4 against the Augusta (Ga.) They host the South Carolina Stringrays Nov. 11 and the Lynx again on Nov. 24 and 25.
Tickets can be purchased at the Ice Pilot ticket office (in the Pensacola Civic Center) or online at www.icepilots.com.
Public appearances
Mascot Ice Man will be present from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Nov. 4 at the Pensacola Regional Airport for the Ronald McDonald Plane Pull.
The annual event which takes place at the Pensacola Regional Airport. Teams of 20 people are being recruited to compete against each other to pull a Boeing 727 12 feet in the least amount of time.

Ice Man will also be present at the annual Jump Rope for Heart event at McArthur Elementary School (330 E. Ten Mile Rd) Nov. 9 from 9:30-11:30 a.m., energizing and supporting the students at the raise money to fight heart disease and stroke.
