National Park Service hosts open house Dec. 8, 9
Friday, Dec. 8 and Saturday, Dec.9 Gulf Island National Seashore will welcome the public to an open-house at the Naval Live Oak Visitor Center.
The purpose of this open house will be to showcase proposed new exhibits and educational materials. Although the exhibits will be incomplete, visitors are invited to participate in an informal but s t r u c t u r e d evaluation of several of the new exhibits between 9-4 either day. Feedback will be used to improve the exhibits and help the Park make final decisions about new education materials to be displayed in Fall 2007.
