Julianne Baird sings March 8
The Pensacola Junior College Lyceum Series presents soprano Julianne Baird twice Thursday, March 8. Baird offers a free master vocal class 2 p.m. in the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus. Her concert, "The Musical World of Benjamin Franklin," is 7:30 p.m. in the Ashmore.
General admission tickets for the concert are $10; seniors, children, non-PJC students, $8; Senior Club members, PJC staff, faculty, retirees, $6; PJC students, free. ZZ Top Rocks Alabama March 14
Classic Rock Superstars ZZ Top will perform at the Wharf in Orange Beach, Ala. March 14 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available through the ticket master website and prices range from $25 to $59.50.
The Amphitheater at The Wharf, a 10,000 seat state-ofthe art performance facility now open at The Wharf, brings top national acts and legend bands to the Gulf Coast.

Pensacola Junior College and the Pensacola Guitar Society celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Pensacola Guitar Ensemble with a
reunion and free concert.
The reunion is 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, March 16, and is open to all former ensemble members. Under the direction of Joe Stallings, the performance is 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium on PJC's Pensacola campus. Tool delays Pensacola performance
The Tool concert originally scheduled for April 2 has been delayed due to medical circumstances. The band's website announced Feb. 21 that drummer Danny Carey tore a bicep. Carey underwent surgery and was said to be recovering well. Rescheduled tour dates will be announced shortly.
Beulah Sausage Festival March 16-18
Some of the Nashville's brightest stars are going to shine at the annual Beulah Sausage Festival Friday through Sunday, March 16 through 18 on Nine Mile Road, five miles west of Pine Forest Road, across from the Beulah Fire Department.
This is the 21st year country music fans are able to enjoy great talent paired with fantastic food and superb entertainment for the whole family. Nationally known country music stars are the highlight of the festival, which also features more than 100 arts and crafts vendors, rides and games for kids, local entertainment throughout the weekend, and of course great food. The Beulah Sausage Festival is a fundraising event organized by the Beulah Volunteer Fire Department supporting surrounding fire departments as well as various organizations throughout Escambia County such as Sacred Heart Children's Miracle Camp and First Book literacy program.
This year's performers include Taylor Swift, Craig Morgan and Heartland.
Swift, who sang the national anthem at a 76ers NBA game in front of a huge audience at the age of 11, will perform at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 16.
Morgan, who has has made over 150 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, will perform at 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 17.
The six-member band Heartland will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 18.
Mark Harris at the Saenger March 22
Christian recording artist Mark Harris, one-fourth of the bestselling, Dove Award-winning group 4Him, will perform at the Saenger Theatre in Pensacola Thursday, March 22, at 7 p.m. Joining Mark Harris that evening will be special guests Joy Williams and Echoing Angels. For 15 years Harris was the primary songwriter for 4HIM, responsible for writing or cowriting 18 number 1 hits for his group.
It's been nearly five years since Williams emerged onto the music scene with the 2001 release of her criticallyacclaimed, self-titled debut album.
Hailing from Atlanta, Echoing Angels brings a contemporary style infused with pop elements influenced by Train, Lifehouse, Matchbox 20, Tonic, MercyMe and Third Day.
