Blue Angels fly Nov. 9 & 10

The Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, will close the 2007 season at their annual Homecoming Air Show aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola on November 9th and 10th.

This year along with the Navy's world-famous flight Demonstration Squadron - the Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornet performances, the Blues' C-130 Hercules transport also known as "Fat Albert" will demonstrate a Jet Assisted Take Off (JATO) with the help of solid fuel rockets.

Other potential military performers include the F-16 Fighting Falcon, F/A-18F Super Hornet, and an F-86 Sabre.

Gates will open at 8 a.m. with the shows starting at 9:45 a.m. Both shows are open to the public. Admission and parking are free. Areas will be reserved for the physically challenged.
