Type in the First City’ show Jan. 16
Mark A. Hopkins will present “Type in the First City” as part of Artel Gallery's continuing Art Explorations series on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 5:30 pm. Graphic design program coordinator at Pensacola Junior College, Hopkins will discuss type in graphic design.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and the lecture begins promptly at 5:30 p.m. A question and answer period will follow the one hour presentation. Light refreshments will be served. Art Explorations lectures are free and open to the public.
Artel is a not-for-profit educational gallery providing a venue for experimental, cutting-edge art. Located at 505 South Adams Street in Seville Square, the gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. For details: 850 432-3080.
