March weather lures us outdoors Idon't care how cold our winter seemed to be this year, there is nothing like a couple of warm days to lure us outdoors again! The first hint of spring breeze and I am ready to walk on the beach, clean off my outdoor furniture and plan a party on the deck! Try out Mark Clabaugh's Trigger Fish recipe on page 11, and include some friends in your evening...
Luckily, March is full of fun outdoor and indoor activities to enjoy! Winter isn't completely gone, and spring isn't officially here yet, so March is a bridge month offering us the best of both seasons!
The Ice Pilots are still playing if you want to bundle up and feel a little like winter. The Civic Center is a fun place to enjoy hockey, and the fans get really fired up when things get a little rough on the ice!
On those warm days in March, head out to the beaches and do a little shell collecting! St. Patrick's Day will offer wonderful times on Pensacola Beach, -- check out the Paddy O'Leary's story on page 3 to see all that's planned at this favorite local hang out.
Musical offerings for the month include classic rock Superstars, ZZ Top, at the Wharf in Orange Beach, Ala. on March 14 and classical music by the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra at the Saenger March 3. Locals and visitors all say that the best of everything is offered along our Gulf Coast, and Splash! Magazine certainly proves it. Just check out the calendar of events!
Thank you for reading Splash!
