Jewelers Trade Shop partners with Friends of the Saenger to preserve architectural jewel
Jewelers Trade Shop is partnering with Friends of the Saenger to host a cocktail party to benefit the renovations at the Saenger.
Whether its just something fun to do before Lord of the Dance show, or you feel lucky enough to win a $5,000 shopping spree at Jewelers Trade, you need to check this one out!
Together, we can make a difference. Generations of Pensacolians have enjoyed a multitude of performances on its stage. The audience, as well as the users, has outgrown the facility and it's time for a major renovation.
Jewelers Trade Shop has served the downtown Pensacola business community for more than 50 years. The shop and its owners, the Corbett Davis Family, have consistently supported projects that are part of the downtown revitalization effort. Now that the Grand Dame of Palafox, The Saenger Theatre, needs work, the family has stepped up again.
To support this effort, Jewelers Trade Shop is hosting a cocktail party to benefit the Friends of the Saenger and the exciting improvements planned for the theatre. The shop at 26 Palafox Place will be open from 5 p.m. until show time for Lord of the Dance on Sunday, May 6. Open to the public, the event will include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and live music.
Ten percent of store sales during the cocktail party will be donated to the Friends of the Saenger. In addition, a silent auction will be held with 100% of the proceeds going to Friends. Auction items include a jeweled version of the 2006 Pensacola Beach sign ornament, a custom-designed Mother's Ring, a Mont Blanc writing instrument and a diamondencrusted bonefish pendant. Jewelers Trade Shop is also offering customers a $20chance to win a $5,000 shopping spree. As with the silent auction, all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Friends of the Saenger.
Please join Jewelers Trade Shop in helping the Friends of the Saenger give new life to this old treasure!
