Panhandle Butterfly House unveils nature's beauty
The fascinating metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly and the amazing habitat of these beautiful creatures can now be viewed up close at the Panhandle Butterfly House.
Located next to the Navarre Bridge in Navarre Park on Highway 98, the Panhandle Butterfly House is an integral part of the Navarre Nature Walk. The Panhandle Butterfly House is totally funded through donations and grants. The ongoing operation depends on the generosity of visitors to the exhibit. All donations are greatly appreciated.
The exhibit is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
Special tours for groups of 15 or more are available. Call 850-623-3868 to schedule a tour.
The Panhandle Butterfly House is a cooperative program of the Santa Rosa Clean Community System, Inc., the University of Florida/IFAS Cooperative Extension and Florida Master Gardeners.
