| Have you had trouble trying to mix new pieces in with Aunt Mildred's antique sofa?
Have you wondered about the most effective way to hang pictures, or wanted to know how working with a design professional can benefit you and actually save you money?
If you have, then read on ... this column is designed to give you the answers to your questions about home decorating and design of all types on the Gulf Coast.
My name is Jon Fortuna, but you can call me the Design Dude. I attended the Savannah College of Art and Design for graduate study, and have worked in the area for the past 11 years, specializing in residential
interiors.
Design is my passion, and it is my goal to help you make good decisions, save money and have fun with the whole design process from start to finish. I invite you to contact me at fldesigndude@aol.com. While I can't answer every question, I will publish selected questions and answers each month, as part of this column. I am also looking for people who would like to be part of a series of "before" and "after" articles, showing how good design can transform a space. The selected photos will be featured in Splash.
