Give Thanks for all our blessings
We get so hurried in the course of our week, handling the mundane tasks and trying to overcome the bigger problems.

Many of us struggle with our health, our finances, raising children, caring for elderly parents, and other challenges that cloud our perspective.

That's one reason Thanksgiving is so meaningful ... it is a day set aside to evaluate the wonderful live we live, in a gorgeous place, with true friends and enough food to each and a warm, safe place to lay our heads.

And that's just the beginning ... many of us have much more than the basics. With the holiday season approaching, we need to give thanks for all our blessings and then look around for what we can share with those less fortunate. and donations of money, time and goods are appreciated.

Here at Splash Magazine, we are thankful for the opportunity to come to you each month, for the plethora of family-oriented festivals and cultural events, for all our contributors, for our readers and for our advertisers who make this publication possible.

This month, we offer some great tips on enjoying Thanksgiving, tell you which fish are biting, offer a calendar chock full of fun events and even recommend a book to read while you let your Thanksgiving dinner settle.

Count your blessings. Hug your family. Give what you can. See you next month!
