Fort Walton Beach - Okaloosa Island Mardi Gras
lets the good times Roll!
Celebrate Mardi Gras on Okaloosa Island with the IslandParade & Paradise Carnivale Ball Presented by the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, Jan. 19.
The Mardi Gras Festival will be at the Emerald Coast Conference Center at 10 a.m. followed by the Parade on Okaloosa Island at 11 a.m.
The Paradise Carnivale Ball at the Emerald Coast Conference Center will be at 8 p.m.
The Festival returns after a three year absence. It will begin at 10 a.m. and feature music, food, costumes and children's activities.
The parade begins at 11 a.m. on Santa Rosa Blvd. with over 70 Mardi Gras themed floats and beads, beads and more beads!
The Paradise Carnivale Ball features Carnivale
Atmosphere at the Emerald Coast Conference Center. There will be live music.
Suggested attire is Mardi Gras Costumes or Black Tie with plenty of food to
sample as Local restaurants feature a "Taste of Mardi Gras." The event is from 8
p.m. to 1 a.m. at
Emerald Coast Conference Center and tickets are available at the Fort Walton Beach Chamber office for $35 per person. Corporate tables are $400. Food providers participating in the Taste of Mardi Gras include: Catering to You, Culinary Cuisine, Original Waterfront Crab Shack, Tijuana Flats, Pranzo's Italian Restaurant, Pandora's Steak House, Scully's on the Bayou, Rocco's Seafood, Aramark and Manhattan Pizza Italian Restaurant
