Honor Flight vets to visit WWII memorial
Area veterans will be taken to the National World War II Memorial with "Honor Flights" starting on April 30th. Marine Corps League J.R. Spears detachment 066, a nonprofit organization, is working to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices by working with Honor Flight. Heroes from Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Washington, and Holmes counties will be flown to Washington, DC to reflect at their memorials for a one day free visit. Vets can apply at
