Festivals bring the music outdoors
Mark your calendar to enjoy music and warm spring weather

One Sun Productions has been working hard to produce fun, unique events featuring some of the southeast's top talent and supporting local groups. One Sun is on a mission to inspire the Pensacola area through music and the arts, and encourages everyone to work for the good of our community as well. Here is our official schedule of events for April.

April 4 - 6: 4th Annual Mossy Headz Music Festival. Three days of camping and music located in beautiful Mossy Heads. Featuring Colonel Bruce Hampton, Lyndsey Battle, Green Hit, Pump Burner, Acoustifunk and many others. For details visit www.mossyheadz.com

April 4 - 5: Seville Quarter Reggae Fest featuring One Jamaican Reggae Band, One Drop and Vibe Irie. For details visit www.rosies.com

Friday, April 4: "First Friday's Downtown Pensacola," a summer concert series in the open air on the first Friday of each month, each with a different theme. April has a Carribean theme, with live music by reggae bands Top Celebrity Crew and Vibe Irie. The music will play from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is free and open to the public. There will also be an after party at Hopjacks with Vibe Irie from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., no cover for 21 and up after 10 p.m.

Thursday April 10: Strut, Green Hit and Acoustifunk at Sluggo's from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m, $5 cover, all ages.

Saturday, April 12: Vibe Irie at The Gutter Lounge, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., no cover, 21 and up.

Saturday, April 19: Pensacola Earth Day Festival. For full info visit www.earthdaypensacola.org

Sunday, April 20: "Blaze At The Beach," with Vibe Irie and friends, live at The Dock, Pensacola Beach, 3 - 7 p.m., no cover, all ages.

Friday April 25: Goombay Pre-Party at The Fish House, 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., no cover, all ages.

Saturday, April 26: The 2nd Annual Goombay Fest, an all day Carribean themed street festival on the corners of Belmont Street and DeVillers Street, Downtown Pensacola, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., features
