'This is Heaven' & 'Imogene's Wash and Go Beauty Shop'

Two short plays add up to a full evening of entertainment at Pensacola Little Theatre. This May, Studio 400 offers a comedy by Pensacola author Rick Jank, and an unpublished musical comedy by two South Carolina writers.

Jank's "This is Heaven" centers on a recently deceased couple (Austin Holt and Jennifer Haley) trying to find their way in the afterlife with the help of an unorthodox angel (Barbara Jacobs).

"Imogene's Wash and Go Beauty Shop" is a musical from the South Carolina writing team of Bob Showalter and Ed Connolly. Michelle Hancock plays the title role of a muchmarried hairdresser offering advice to a young bride (Stephanie Rhobotham). Beth Ramirez de Arellano appears as a psychic who predicts a dire outcome for the wedding day!

Both plays are directed by Rodney Walker, who has been acting and providing technical support at Pensacola Little Theatre for more than 30 years.

"This is Heaven" and "Imogene's Wash and Go" are begins Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, May 29-31.
