Destin Commons offers free Kid's Summer Movie Series July, Every Tuesday & Wednesday, 10 a.m., Rave Motion Pictures
Kids of all ages won't want to miss a great series of movies over the summer at Rave Motion Pictures. The free movies are compliments of Destin Commons. It's a great field trip idea for area summer camps, schools, churches and daycare groups. In addition, get a kid's movie meal including a drink, popcorn and candy for $1 off. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Kids can get creative and enter the name the Destin Commons alligator character. A boy's name, or girl's name for the big green lovable character, it's up to kids to decide. The as yet un-named Destin Commons alligator will be on hand to meet and greet kids before every movie during the Free Kid's Summer Movie Series at Rave Motion Pictures. The child whose name wins will receive a $50 Destin Commons Gift Card. To enter, pick up a name entry card at the Destin Commons Customer Service Kiosk, or at Rave Motion Pictures. Bring the completed name entry card to any of the Free Summer Movies at Rave Motion Pictures or the Customer Service Kiosk at Destin Commons. Contest ends July 30th. Winner will be notified by phone and/or email.
Independence Day Fireworks
Friday, July 4, 8:30 p.m.
Destin Commons Center Plaza
Bring the entire family out to celebrate Independence Day. The skies over Destin Commons' will light up with the best extravaganza of fireworks set to America's favorite patriotic songs. Kids can frolic in the 49-head pop fountains and Zakari, the balloon sculpting stilt walker, will be on hand. Lawn chairs encouraged.
