Renting a Funny Car is not only the BEST way to see Pensacola Beach, it's the "Most Fun and Exciting" way to see the Island and all its attractions.
Funny Cars started on Pensacola Beach in February 2002. They are locally owned and located at 5 Via de Luna Suite H in the Soundside Market Center across from the Hilton.
Funny Cars provide visitors to our area with a fun, safe and very unique way to tour our Island. They have made every effort to cater to all of your beach transportation needs by offering electric cars, motorcycles (49cc), Beach Cruiser bicycles and beach wheel chairs.
Funny Cars rents electric cars that are streetlegal motor vehicles. They have five-passenger vehicles and one eight-passenger vehicle. The cars come in a variety of colors. The Funny Cars have seat belts, headlights, turn signals, brake lights, windshield wipers and a horn. The cars are car-seat friendly for those younger passengers.
We rented a five-seater to entertain our nieces and nephews on their recent visit from Michigan. They toured the entire Island, seeing what most people miss, such as the Island Cross that stands tall on Pensacola Beach and commemorates the first Christian mass held in the United States. Renting the Funny Car was the "highlight" of their trip, and I guarantee it'll be the same for you!
