Musicians perform at a previous Jazz Jam. The Jazz Society of Pensacola has announced that the Jan. 2009 first-Monday Jazz Jam will be held at Jambalaya's restaurant inside the Quality Inn and Suites in Gulf Breeze, near the foot of the 3-mile bridge.

With the closing of eat! Restaurant recently, the Jazz Society sought a new venue for their regular first-Monday Jazz Jam sessions.

There is a five-dollar charge for admission to the session.

Performing musicians are welcome without charge.

There will be full menu dining service and a wellstocked bar serving beer, wine and mixed drinks.
