Jambalaya's hosts Jazz Jam

Musicians perform at a previous Jazz Jam. Musicians perform at a previous Jazz Jam. The Jazz Society of Pensacola has announced that the Jan. 2009 first-Monday Jazz Jam will be held at Jambalaya's restaurant inside the Quality Inn and Suites in Gulf Breeze, near the foot of the 3-mile bridge.

With the closing of eat! Restaurant recently, the Jazz Society sought a new venue for their regular first-Monday Jazz Jam sessions.

There is a five-dollar charge for admission to the session.

Performing musicians are welcome without charge.

There will be full menu dining service and a wellstocked bar serving beer, wine and mixed drinks.

Crystal Joy Albert, Pensacola JazzFest Music Director said, "We are pleased to be associated with Jambalaya's as they are located at Quality Inn, Gulf Breeze.
