I was extra hestitant with the Christian hardcore band The Alliance of Us and Them.

That all changed when I finally heard their music.

The first track I listened to, on their Myspace page, was "Scuba Steve". I dug the name and delved further.

What developed was an interesting and exciting experience of a talented local Pensacola band. As soon as Corey Smith's vocals hit, you are sucked into a cacophony of sound that bombards and envelops you, demanding your attention.

Smith's gravelly vocals and throaty screams are backed up well by strong guitars, awesome bass and drum work. The five guys who make up this group are: Corey Smith (vocals), Ryan Meyers (guitar), Kevin Smith (bass), Caleb Pierce (guitar), and Michael King (drums).

With their great group dynamic and high energy live show, these guys are a must see local band. Even if the hardcore crowd isn't your scene, you should check these guys out. Especially if you like talented, local musicians.

For more information check out their Myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/weareallied or to see them live, check our calender of their shows at the bottom.

A special thanks goes to Caleb Pierce for providing information and insight, and a big thanks to Nathan Johnstone for the photography of the band.
