Friday, April 3, Celtic Woman:

The international Irish music phenomenon, Celtic Woman, will play at the Pensacola Civic Center on April 3 at 8 p.m. Last year's hit show earned the ladies hundreds of new local fans and this concert promises to be even better! Four years ago Celtic Woman traveled from Ireland to America and captivated millions with their inspiring songs of hope and love.

Their incredible journey to stardom has been like a dream come true for vocalists Chloe, Lisa, Orla, Lynne, Alex and Celtic violinist Mairead. The 2009 "Isle of Hope" tour will dazzle the eye, enchant the ear and stimulate both the mind and the heart.

In just four short years, the group has sold more than 4 million CDs and DVDs, played seven US tours, and performed for more than 800,000 people. Meanwhile, the three Celtic Woman PBS Specials have aired more than 13,658 times on 342 PBS stations across the country, covering 97% of US television households.

Their recent album, The Greatest Journey Essential Collection, debuted at #1.

Daryl Hall and John Oates, two of the most well-known stars in the music industry, are making a stop at the Pensacola Civic Center for an intimate theatre performance on Sunday, April 5 at 8 p.m. Hall and Oates started working together in the early 1970's and went on to become the most successful duo in rock history. With over 60 million albums sold, Daryl Hall & John Oates' rich repertoire has garnered a total of 8 #1 hit singles along with dozens of hits throughout the 70's, 80's, and 90's, including 2002's "Do It For Love." Other top singles include: "Rich Girl," "Kiss On My List," "Maneater," "Private Eyes," "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)", "Sara Smile," "She's Gone," and "One On One."

Tuesday, April 7 Music as a Weapon:

Hard-rock band Disturbed will launch the Music As A Weapon IV Tour—a music, tattoo, and lifestyle festival— presented by Samsung Mobile and powered by Sprint. The tour comes to the Pensacola Civic Center on Tuesday, April 7, beginning at 2 p.m.

Although the Chicago quartet conceived Music As A Weapon in 2001 and have headlined the previous three tours, this is the first time that it has been expanded into a complete lifestyle festival. In addition to presenting the best in rock music, Music As A Weapon IV also features a collection of the greatest tattoo artists from around the country offering their talents.

Attendees will also be able to check out an extreme sports complex where freestyle motocross, BMX, and Skate teams will perform, a Te chnolog y and Gaming Zone, and a Vendor Village, all for a fan-friendly ticket price.
