The annual "Kid's Fishing Clinic" will be on Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Panama City Marina. The event is presented by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission.

Children of all ages are invited to participate—free of charge. Kids will have the opportunity to learn the basics of fishing in a safe and friendly environment. A series of educational stations will be set up for the children.

Topics such as knot tying, casting and tackle will be covered. Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Parents and/or guardians must accompany all children.

In addition, the first 300 children will be given a free rod and reel to take home compliments of Fish Florida.
