In celebration of Pensacola's 450th Anniversary, create your own contemporary edgy view of the multicultural archeological history of Pensacola for Artel's "Art Underground" exhibit, which opens on July 21.

Artifacts from centuriesold shipwrecks, unearthed pottery, botanical and architectural remains currently displayed at UWF's Archeology Institute are valuable sources of inspiration. Jurors for the exhibit are Margo Stringfield and John Markowitz. Entry drop off is Saturday and Sunday July 18-19. The opening reception for the exhibit will be on Friday, July 31. "Art Underground" will run through August 28.
